HR Site Manager

- Takes the leadership role for the site
- Managers the planning, development, implementation and administration of the following human resources processes: building organization capability (includes consulting on organizational design), building individual capability (includes competencies, learning and development and training), selection, building commitment (includes employee relations), performance management and rewards system (includes compensation, benefits and recognition)
- Acts as a business partner with site leaders, other departments and employees
- Develops local Human Resources policies and programs
- Assists and advises HR Global Director, Global HR SS Manager, and site management on employee policy and program matters for the local site, making or recommending appropriate decisions consistent with corporate and site specific strategic direction, balanced with employee advocacy, and legal compliance
- Coordinates implementation directly and through self and staff. In addition, participates as a team member to global HR Shared Services

- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent degree to Human Resources
- At least 3-5 years solid management skills both on people and principles; experience in working with management and with all levels of employees
- Experience in at least 3 major process areas, most notably employee relations and communication, selection, performance management and rewards, however, flexibility is required
- Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, staffing, employee relations and communication. and learning and development
- Demonstrates positive attitude, comfortable performing mutifaceted projects in conjuction with day-to-day activities
- Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible
- Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment
- Good communication skills: one-on-one, in groups written and verbal, can flex style for appropriate audience
- Resourceful and well-organized
- Participative management style - advocate of team concept. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive - but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities
- Results and people-oriented, but has sound judgment - ability to balance other business considerations
-Service-oriented, but assertive, persuasive and influencing
